    1. TIL suggested @ Rs.230 and reached a high of Rs.862 thereafter ,Due to overall negative business sentiment in construction and Engineering sector it currently trading around Rs.400. Fate is directly linked with the revival of these sectors.

    1. Earlier I commented about Subex as a potential turn around candidate , still I hope the same will happen in this FY. Price of stock is a function of supply and demand which is beyond our control.

From tyre sector which one is good for long term tvs srichakra, goodyear, balkrishna industries. tvs srichakra seems very good but price moved a lot. Any small cap stocks we can enter in this sector at the moment ?

  11. Dear VP Sir, Salutations.
We appreciate that in keeping with SEBI guidelines there cannot be a recommendation for buy/sell/hold in this blog. Is there an alternative way to be in touch. If not we miss the wisdom and luck. There will be many like us. Please help. Best Regards.

  12. Dear Sir,
I think you may post only heading like " I am presently buying Subex". This is the best solution to follow SEBI rules and you can indicate to us about good stocks.

  13. Dear VP,

Need you views about one of your old recommendations Yuken India. This company has recently decided to monetize one of the land assets in ITPL Bangalore. The land is in core ITPL area and as per my calculation with the current prevailing rates in Bangalore, it could fetch over 150-200 crores for the company. The current market cap is only 100 crores. Looks like company has some other good land assets and also stake in subsidiaries and wholly owned subsidiaries which also have good assets. This seems to be a value buy stock which is yet to be noticed by large investors. Please let me know if I'm over sighting something. Thank you.
    Regards,
    Jay

    1. I am not a big fan of land bank stories , core business Yuken is expected to improve once there is revival in economy .Company is backed by a decent management and good product line , those with patience can hold.

  19. Sir, you say Subex is a potential turnaround, kindly address the following -
1.the only names of its shareholders are its lenders, who are looking to exit.
2.$47.43 million is the last outstanding of their bonds, with average conversion rate of Rs 13.6 and huge number of equivalent shares, the equity base would be blown to 20 crore shares.
with these kind of scenerio whats in it for retail investment..?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Turn around means profit from loss on business side , who own shares and whatever happening in stock market is another side . I don't think expansion in equity will affect turn around process , it may impact stock price if floating stock in market increases.

  22. Hi VP,

One sad thing about Salzer Electronics is that they are posting good results quarter after quarter and at the same time the fund houses are exiting. Its strange to see the so called long term investors like Sanjoy Battacharya is doing trading with this company. Ocean dial fund had recently entered and now slowly they are exiting. Already L&T exit have increased floating stock to a greater extend and this fund house selling makes the situation even worse.

On a brighter note, company is on growth path....may reward in long term.

    Thanks
    Sunder
