SUZLON ENERGY LTD - UPDATE

Suzlon energy is one stock I suggested to book loss @ Rs. 17 when they divested Senvion recently .In  recent days receiving lot of queries from my readers asking whether my sell recommendation is still valid .As you are aware , in an unexpected development ,  Dilip Sanghvi the second richest Indian and founder of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries picking 23 % stake in Suzlon. This is  tad below the 24% stake held by the original promoters of Suzlon. Even if the existing management will run the company , I believe it is an important positive development for the company  .Considering Sanghvi's and his  team's good track record in spotting opportunities and turning around ailing companies, withdrawing my earlier sell recommendation

    1. Recent development is positive and good for long term But considering the sharp appreciation in past few days on account of this news, we can't rule out chance for consolidation for a while.

    1. Roto Pump recommended around Rs.85 when its Face Value was Rs.10 . Now it splitted FV from Rs.10 to Rs.2 and currently trading above Rs.105 , which already given a five fold return.

  5. Sir, The sanghvi's purchased 23% stake and again going for open offer for another 26%. If the open offer materializes the stake of sanghvi's surpass the 24% stake what Tanti's are holding in the company. with this development the promoter or the controlling will change to the hands of sanghvi's. What will be the bearing effect on the stock with this change.

  11. P Sir, Simran Farms has come out with a fantastic set of standalone numbers for 3Q posting an EPS of more than 6 for the quarter. I have checked the financials and everything is operational performance. Finance costs have gone up significantly, but despite this, the company has done well. I am aware you have had some concerns previously on seasonality of earnings and scalability. Wanted to check if you have had a chance to review the results and your take on the same..
