    1. Expressed my opinion about Basant Agro at least five times in past three months . For a better valuation , management should consider de-merger of seed division otherwise it may stay range bound

    2. Can the same can be said for EPC Irrigation. The seed division once merged with EPC the value will unlock.

  4. Dear vpji,
I would like to know your views regarding sunil hi tech after management interview on cnbc. They are looking skeptical about rise in net profit. With expected turn over of 2500 crores and average npm of last five years at 2.5.% they should make net profit of 60 - 65 crores but after this interview do you believe that it will be achieved or we have to wait for 1-2 quarters.
I am not capable of analyzing results in detail and need your help as many times construction related companies shows other expenses along with top line growth and their net profit don't grow.
kindly advise for this query. I am hopeful that my question will be answered.

  10. Dear Sir,
Can you give your opinion on Rollatainers?
As you know, they are one of the leaders in flexible packaging as well as in lined cartons. All the major FMCG companies are their clients.
Now that they have entered into chain restaurants and fast food chains business through their wholly owned subsidiary Carnation Hospitalities, I think their valuation might change.
Would they be able to scale the heights of Jubilant Foodworks? The prospects of their food retail business with brands like Barista, Wendy’s Burger, Olliver’s Italian chain restauarant is even higher than Jubilant.
However, I do not know their financial details like debt, promoter pledging of shares etc., which are very important; perhaps more important than the business details.
I am eagerly waiting for your valued opinion.
Would you mind to reply in some details? Please don’t mind.
    Thanks in advance…..

    1. In the packaging segment company's top line is growing but no consistency for bottom line which is a concern. They acquired some good brands in food sector in recent times.Even though the brands are good they are not profit making ones including Barista .So it is too early to comment about management's efficiency to turn around newly acquired business.

what is your expectation on SKM price stabilization range? It cannot understand the peoples mentality, when UC always people behind it to buy, when it is in LC no people are buying ? what is this type trading , can you explain , why this type of trading nature? Does it indicates any operator driving this stock or people mentality like blind following others?

    1. Don't think stocks are rockets to move only in one direction . Shakti Pumps gained from Rs.58 to Rs.200 in last one year and Capital First from Rs.200 level to Rs.350 level in last six months. From where you get such a return except from stock market ( legally permitted sources ) ?. Up and downs are part of market .If you have no faith in the company you are investing and your concentration is on daily price movements , I think you are not at the right place.

    1. Yes Abhishek , what you said is right. When market heated number of questions and email increased a lot and sometimes it is beyond my control. When we started this blog about 4 years back situation of market was very pathetic and the investors remain in that market was matured enough and familiar with many up and down in market. But situation has changed a lot , new generation investors seeing only this bull market and they expect stock should multiply on a daily basis and it should go only up from their purchase price.Their questions are in the similar line. I am an old style investor giving first priority for not loosing our Capital , and making profit is only the next .I still believe I could survive in this market for last 24 years only because of this approach and still believing in it. I can't recommend a stock even if I know some operators are in it and it will move up because of their action , If I am not confident enough about the company and its promoters.

This generation gap may be the reason for loosing old tempo .:)
Any way let them make money quickly , let us watch and enjoy . Our aim is survive here with steady return and not make money in one bull market and vanish in next bear market.
